We could return to early places we spent time, but none of them really quite seems the thing. In fact, looking at our early forays, one wonders why we stuck at it. Lets take the weekend trip to a water park, where the most memorable moment was Restil's frantic efforts to fish me out from the pool at the bottom of the water slide, inside the bowels of which we had flipped over, with him spending the rest of the trip down trying frantically to get his six foot five frame off my tiny five foot three, all the while driving my arm into the bottom of the slide. OUCH! Yes, please lets not repeat that one. Thanks!
With my new interest in exercise bikes and treadmills, perhaps we could go to some lovely area renowned for hiking and outdoor exercise, I suppose, but where? Restil has suggested a cruise out of Galveston, but with that we run into issues of timing. We can hardly leave a high schooler alone while we cruise, which would be a problem with our anniversary at the ending of October, but perhaps we could travel at some other time. November break at Thanksgiving-time comes to mind, but it looks as though those cruises are a tad higher priced. Still, it looks possible to book a shorter cruise as low as $400. This seemed very reasonable, although it is an inside room. Who spends much time on a cruise in their room. Oh yeah. Romance....hmmm.

At least there are two very different choices of cruise companies going out of Galveston, with Carnival apparently noted for it's youthful party atmosphere and Royal Caribbean with their huge, floating activity center, Voyager of the Seas. Both report extensive exercise opportunities and apparently come well-equipped with exercise bikes and treadmills, even holding spinning classes.
