Planning an itinerary sounds so much easier than it has turned out to be. I suppose it would help if we didn't have three people with vastly differing tastes, and on top of that at least one of us wants to SEE IT ALL! hrm. I finally hunted around for suggested walks on travel sites and traveler blogs of what they did containing some of the sights we thought we wanted to see. Then I made the mistake of posting the results on a travel forum and got flamed for shoving too much in a day. *sigh* I finally decided to blow that off, leave the lists as is, and plan to make changes on the ground as we go if things take longer than expected. After all, we may also find some of the sights not as interesting as we expected and thus take less time. I tried to research closed days and possible renovations, but some of the information on that sort of thing is sketchy, to say the least. I figure having a little extra on the plan would mean we can make informed decisions at the time. The one problem I have left is we have one day for which I just can not come up with a final plan. Lots of cool stuff left on the list, but it is scattered all over Tokyo. A friend has suggested Nokano, and he wrote a great
blog about his time in Japan. Yes, it is a wonderful blog. I'll wait while you explore it, so take your time.. -*wink*-
